    Table Rock Lake

We are heading there tomorrow AM with our RZR from Denver and staying at a the "chalets at table rock." Looking at the map it is west of Lampe.

Does anyone have any intel or advice for us? We will be there from Sunday to Saturday and we be stoked to meet up with anyone local or others visiting!

Great location... I live just south of there so we boat there every weekend. My kids are always wanting to stop at their dock and jump on their water trampoline

One of my favorite coves to go. It's a always got glass. Baxter dock has some of the cheapest gas on the lake and a best beer selection. The restaurants have gone to their off season schedule of Thursday to Sunday and others have closed so call before making the trip. Shell knob bridge has Pizza Hut and kimberling city has the Rocks lakeside grill. A fun hangout for the kids is "the Swing". Temps have dropped so lake will be low 80s.

The warning is in the thread I started but I thought I would emphasize if you see that State Marina Flag on any boat give it wide birth.....I ate lunch at the Marina one day and they weren't kidding in my thread when someone pointed out that they will rent those boats to anyone with a credit card...the renters get like a 30 min intro to boating and they send em off..more than once I had to pull in front of a moron who was zig zagging with a tuber in tow thru a narrow cove while we had a surfer/wakeboarder in the water.....

When you pull out from chalets dock, if you go turn right you will find a slalom course not far away nestled back between the bluffs. You should be able to board here anytime of the day. There's another 1/4 mile or so of water after the course that is glass most often. Past that, the lake will turn to the left a little and once you get around the corner start to be careful. I usually don't go that far because it starts to get shallow quick. ive seen other people back there but don't like to get my boat into depths that read in the teens. From chalets dock, if you turn left, there's usually good riding water for quite a ways. You'll have bluff on your left side and docks lining the northern(right) shoreline. if you keep heading that way the lake will open up now. A turn to the left will take you down by the kanakuk camps, which are now closed. Be thankful. They have many many boats that pull tubes all over the place, all summer long. Anyways, staying straight you will see a public launch ramp on your left. This is where we always launch, it's 10 min from our driveway. Across from this launch ramp is Baxter campground and Marina. Gas, food, beer... Enough said there. There is a great bluff to jump from just past Baxter Marina. Low bluffs for the littles ones and the tall bluffs are probly knocking on 25 feet by now since the water is going down. We always duck back into the cove on the right just past those bluffs to drop anchor and swim. Pandora works here. If your a pandora user, you know how important that is because it won't work anywhere back by the slalom course. No cell signal there. Anyways, if you need anything else.. Just ask.

Have a great trip. You will be passing close to my home lake. Grand Lake in NE Oklahoma. The day temps have cooled this weekend however the temps by mid week are to be mid to upper 80's.
