    Wetsuit

Anyone bust out the wetsuit yet? Looks like this weekend we will have to. The next 3 nights are suppose to be in the 40's and highs in the 60's starting Friday.

Not yet, we've gotten quite a bit of rain the last two weeks and although the lake temp has dropped it was still pretty nice last weekend. We wore heater tops because the air temp is a little chilly in the morning. The wind picked up so we just floated for the rest of the day but otherwise I would have peeled the top off.

Probably this weekend. low to mid 50s but no wind in the forecast so we're goin'. The game will be on the radio, and i'm not sure i can even stand to watch my Huskers on TV. we'll ski till the water gets hard!

Water was 84 degrees last weekend, 105 degrees outside. Next weekend on Mead should be 85-87 Water temp, and 95-100 air temp. Sorry guys couldn't resist.
My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

Table Rock Lake, Missouri water temp was 82 degrees labor day weekend which is warmer than it was the previous two weekends. The weather here has been cool and wet. I am suspecting wet suites will be coming out soon. I try to go until the nights drop below freezing. This year will need to buy wet suite for my daughter who just started surfing. Anyone got suggestions or tips where best to buy them? Mine is an old dive suite and my skin suite (paid $1) all bought at garage sales.

This time of year it may be a bit tougher to find. Even Costco has them in the spring. I'd say boat dealers and any surf/skate shops.

A few weeks ago we had to put on shorty's. The water was 70 and we only did because we have them. The last 2 weeks the water is up in the mid to upper 80's.

We use wetsuits as long as we can till the boat needs to be winterized.

And Chris I am all about football too however surfing comes first and with wetsuits that means lots more hours to still come. And of course I have to throw out the GO COWBOYS!

eBay is a good place to find good deals. Of course nothing beats a good garage sale find.

Man u guys are hard core!! I'm with Chris... Labor Day hits and college football starts so my Saturdays are booked.. WHOOO PIG!! But really my little ones are 4 and 6 and all they ever wanna do is go to the lake, but with TRL water temps down in the low 80's now, when the sun goes behind clouds they get chilly.

Wetsuits on our lake! It's cooled down a lot over the last few weeks of rain. All you guys who are saying your water is down to 80 I'm totally jealous our lake barely gets to 80. I'm not sure what it's at right now because are boat doesn't have a gauge, but last year around the middle end of September it was at like 55
