I don't think the EB would be a good fit in a boat. In this application, the engine would be on boost all the time. You might not see any issues in the first couple of years, but I think repair costs would go up exponentially after that. (I maintain a mixed fleet of around 400 pickups-Ford & Chevy)
I'm not saying it isn't a good engine in a pickup, but part of the appeal is that there is only around 25 HP needed to maintain highway speed unless you are loaded down. How many F-150's are pulling max weight all the time? Part of why you have yet to see the EB offered in an F-250.
