    Speaker/Wire instal Alpha Z tower

I just purchased my first Tige boat (2011 RZR) with 29 hours. I figured all RZR would come stock with tower speakers but this boat didn't have them. I bought it from a private seller but called a local Tige dealer to ask about how to install tower speakers on a Alpha Z tower and to say they where less then informative would be a understatement. I have now learned it's a option to even have the tower pre wired for speakers? What by removing the plug from the tower I have found that my boat didn't have this option as well. So my question is how big of a job is it to fish speaker wire through that aluminum tower and mount a set of REV10 speakers? Has anyone tried this? I tried YouTube and they only show mounting speakers to a Malibu tower what's the same mounting hardware but nothing on pulling wire.
    Thanks

The tower is actually fairly easy to wire for a single pair of tower speakers. There are some tricks and a "gotcha" to watch for.

That's a relief thank you. So do I just order wet sound speaker wire and fish two runs over to the Amp?
Was going to add a Syn4 amp to power the tower. What tricks and "gotcha" do I need to look out for? Do I need to run new power supply from the battery to the new amp or can you piggy back on the power supply line for the stock amp that's in the boat now?
      Thank you for the info

You can use the Wet Wire but just note its sold in a bulk roll and you will only need about 50ft total. So you would need to check with your dealer to see what they have in stock. They offer the 12/2 and the 12/2 x 22/4 spk/RGB wire. Personally, I use a 12/4 I get in bulk.

Do not piggyback the amp power cables off the existing amp. Only the turn-on lead. You will need a B+ and B- along with some main circuit protection just for the new amp.

I'll try to send a private message later regarding wiring the tower.

I have a set of rev 8's and a set of rev 10's on an alpha Z tower but need to update the wiring, can you share the "gotcha" moment and talk a little more about the 12/4 and the benefits you have realized with it?
