Some observations: my basis is a heavily ballasted 2006 24Ve that buries the rub rail.
1. The boat is HUGE. Astonishing that a boat of the same length is so much roomier.
2. 450 Raptor didn't blow me away. Nice for sure, but maybe needs a different prop or something? Had a loud growl though.
3. Surfing in a level boat is darned nice. Much easier on passengers. I didn't think it really mattered, but I admit I liked it.
4. Wave was "friendly." The transition was gradual, and easy to manage. Push was very good. I could not really tell the difference much between "surf" and "swell." It might not have a great lip, hard to tell for me as I do not take air yet. It was not nearly as touchy as my wake. Height was similar, slope was less steep than mine. I could slide sideways on the wave crest very easily on my Lakewakes Flying Saucer,
5. Boat seemed to be rock solid construction. I was impressed.
