    Ballast bag will not drain!

2015 RZ4 Starboard rear bag would not drain after surf session tonight. Did Tige not put a manual relief valve some where ? Are can i just not locate it? Had to pull boat home with extra 1000lbs of water

Can you hear the drain pump run? Not sure what you mean by manual relief valve.

pump will only run for about a second. I can make the other 3 run as long as needed. I would like to be able toopen a valve and let the water free flow out the bottom of the boat while it is on the trailer.

That happened to me once, it was air locked I guess. I put QD's on the top vent port now so I can use my Tusnami pump to drain them if it ever happens again. The one time it did it to me I pulled the drain hose off and let it run into the bilge and let the bilge pumps pump it out. there is a manual toggle switch under your helm were you can force the pumps on also.

I need to find the manual switch. I think Tige should have installed QD on the top of each bag so we could carry a extra Tusnami and drain any bag in case of a failure like this.

If you want a connection on the top of the bag, install one. I've seen an article describing how to do it, I think right here on this site. It's careful work but not difficult.

Super easy to add ports, just get ahold of MLA, he has the quick disconnect ports to glue in
