    Boat pricing Z3, and RZX?

Hey all, i have been boat shopping. I want a RZX, but cant afford it, or cant afford their asking price of $130-136k. The Z3 is next on my list, and i was quoted $97k.
These prices seem high to me for a 23 foot boat. What are you guys paying, or getting quoted??

That seems high for both boats but I am not a dealer. If you can wait one more season you may be able to pickup a demo RZX over the winter with some hours for a discount but then again these maybe highly sought after. Make sure you shop around out of state etc... no two dealers are the same with pricing.

        Good luck.

Travism, i thought about calling another dealer, but thought they had some territory restrictions? Maybe not..? Anybody know of a dealer that makes good deals?
One good thing is they told me they would give me $60k for my RZ2 on trade, and i thought that was fair.

Those numbers don't surprise me at all. I think you would see similar ones here in Denver based on options. Prices here jump up across all brands because with these new boats being loaded down it's hard to run base motors here at elevation in a 23 footer. I bet you could do alittle better on price but still in the 90's I would guess.

With a decked out dual wheel trailer and pretty much every option you can order on the boat, that is within a couple grand of my dealers pricing. For only a couple G I'd maybe haggle them a bit rather then going to another dealer as you won't have that local service. Some offer a percentage of in their parts and accessories shop. Comes in handy when buying boards, ropes, tubes, shirts, etc. If it were several thousand in which was my case I went elsewhere and haven't looked back.

Make sure it is a good dealer after the sale and that's worth a lot and you can't put a price on that! Being located in TX you have several to choose from. As you stated the trade price is excellent also.

They do have territories where they can only sell new boats in.

But, as mentioned here frequently, that only applies to current-year boats. If you're dead-set on a new model but need to keep the cost under control, wait until next year's models have been released and then scour the nation for a "leftover", a previous-year but otherwise brand new boat with full warranty that just didn't sell. The dealers want to get rid of leftovers because they're tired of the carrying costs and they need room for the new year's models. Several here, including me, bought our boats exactly like that and saved a lot of money... I'm talking 20-30% off. You may have to travel a bit but with savings like that it's worth it.

I keep forgetting how horrible are dollar is up here in Canada!
                        A loaded out 2015 z1 with AVX is 111 000, 2015 ASR for around 160 000, which is outrageous!

That price seems decent to me. I have an RZX priced out currently and it is under your 130k mark so it might just take a motivated dealer.

thats why I said new boats... but I know current model year boats they can not sell out side territories. My dealer sold a demo, and another dealer refused to service it, because he didn't sell the boat. Just and FYI

That's a dealer problem, not a boat nor customer problem. That other dealer just identified himself as unworthy of your attention, time, money, and business. And I would share that information with as many local people as possible. I'm the first to support great businesses, but bad ones should be actively exterminated like cockroaches. Drive them out of business and out of your community. No mercy.
