Can this propeller be saved?

Lesson: inspect the boat launch before you use it. Even if you've launched there a dozen times.

So this happened when I launched my boat at Canoe Beach in Shuswap Lake. Water is at a 100 year low. I should have known better. It just a comedy of issues that resulted in this:





I guess my question is, can this be fixed? The damage isn't bad but in this case there are chunks seemingly missing. It's not just a matter of bending it back.

Back to my 537 to enjoy this vista.... On the plus side I did my first underwater prop swap!

Damn Johnniemo mine is bent a little. But that one looks wors . I'm prob just buying a new one tomorrow and get mine resurfaced. But. We. Both had a bad. Same things happened. But thank . For. The input on my thread

Yes and if you don't have anyone local then call Mazco props out of saint Louis. The guy is a great. I am sure if you send him these pics he will let you know the approx cost. That's a good one so way the cost of good used prop or repair.

Any decent prop repair shop can fix that, they've seen much worse.

That really sucks, but good thing you packed a spare.

Good observation. Yes I believe it was. All these 'people' left their boats tied up along the launch so I had to to some tricky maneuvers. In the end I walked the boat out in to deeper water but the damage was already done.

I ended up taking it to Seca Marine for repair. They said it won't be a problem. Also got this bad boy.

What size is that thing. Looks awesome.

It is a 4'10" blunt nose Honu.

I had originally ordered a custom Honu but it was stuck in paint forever. Jeff @ Soulcraft did me a solid and gave me my money back to buy this off the shelf at Seca in time for my holiday.

The weights are doing a great job keeping the glue stuck. They are doing a poor job at helping us exercise.
