Boat Lift - Lake of the Ozarks

Anyone here deal with LOTO Lift? I'm looking at a new 6,000 LB low water lift from them.

They've sent me some info and I've requested references from satisfied customers.

If anyone has any experience with them, good or bad, I'd love to hear about it. Casey is the guy I'm talking to.

    Thanks as always!

Do a search on midwestboatparty.com if nobody on here responds. They had some talk a few months back on dock builders at LOTO.

Hi nmriordan. Nice to see a fellow StL resident on TO. We boat at Rend Lake, IL. Make it over to LOTO once or twice a year to boat with friends.

Was at LOTO two weeks ago -- I am always amazed at the battering lifts on the channel take. I know most houses are back on a cove (assuming you are too).

I don't know anything about LOTO lift but Poly Lift is great to work with. Good service and a quality product. They have a lifetime warranty on their tanks and there bunks aren't carpeted which cuts down on maintenance.

I will second this. Poly lift has been great for us and has taken the rough water really well.

Damn, I used to help a dude install boat lifts on LOTO when I was in high school... That was in the eighties though.. Good Luck!

Now looking at a Fibersteel if anyone has feedback. Again, calm water application.

I have a 10,000lb. fibersteel lift. I've had very good luck with it (came with my condo lift) but I have read mixed reviews. I know the older ones with white tanks had issues and some people get hung up on square tanks vs.tubes. I've had zero issues other than I had to got to a different lift company to get new brackets to adjust my bunks for my inboard because I could never get fibersteel to call me back. I think mine is about 3 years old, I have a season and a half on it myself.

Don't know LOTO lifts but I have a boat floater on LOTO and love it... They were great to deal with and answered all my questions.

                    Thanks for the input, guys.

JLG, appreciate the LOTO forum suggestion, too. It's been helpful for other topics as well.

Purchasing the Fibersteel lift. Am very much looking forward to having the boat on a lift and waving good bye to trailering her every weekend.

Last minute pivot.... Went back to Poly Lift. Got their economy line Roto Lift.

007 - beginning Friday we will be in Bogue Bay (4mm of the Gravois Arm). Have done most of our boating up until now just a couple miles up in Indian Creek.

How do you like the Gravois arm for wakeboarding is it rough does your boat get around pretty good?

The main channel of the Gravois gets rough on summer weekends, but there are plenty of good coves up the Gravois for water sports. Back of mill creek or Indian creek are both good unless it's a holiday or midday on a busy Sat. Also, decent water can be had at the end of the arm (mm 9-10), but be careful as its shallower and there are some stumps to memorize/stay away from. Same goes for he very back of Indian Creek... Turn at the red metal docks.

Have been in a 20v down there for the last few years and no problems as long as you know how to operate responsibly. You're more than fine in your Z3.

2000 20ci, Gravois Mills. Call Milton Lehman 573-280-4510. He is with Raymonds Boat and Motor. Hydra Hoist servicer and dealer. One man show. Years of experience, nice guy. My family has done business with him for years. My brother bought a used lift from him this summer. Milton installed. Like the rope swing in your cove. M&M!cid_304.jpg
