I am new to the wake boarding boat market and need some help with my purchase. I am about to purchase a 2015 R20. Boat is loaded up with opts: tower speakers, sub, amp, surf light, tandem trailer, cover, etc...I am paying 60k for the boat. Anyone out there purchased a R20 or similar lately? Need to know if this is a decent deal or not. Dealer is also throwing in surf board and surf rope. Any help appreciated !! Thanks...

Congrats and welcome to the site, few questions that I am sure people will want to know:
1. Does it come with factory ballast, guessing yes as they are throwing in a bunch of stuff?
2. What motor does it have? MP/Ford
3. Does that price include your warranty, there are some stipulations with the warranty if I remember?
4. What is the sound option that you are referring too (kicker, wetsounds, ect.)?
5. DID YOU TEST DRIVE THE BOAT????????? This is huge IMO, you wouldn't buy a 60K car without driving it first right?
All in all sounds like a decent deal, I mean its a brand new Tige' that will provide decades of good times. The options or questions are really just niceties, or things to look for. It goes with out saying that EVENTUALLY you will want to upgrade different things. Sound and ballast are probably the most frequently upgraded items.
PICTURES.......WE LOVE PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

We have a 15 r20 and we surf behind it regularly. Mostly goofy. The one thing I will say is that if it has the vx you will need additional ballasts to get a nice wave. We have the 1600 lbs. and generally wI'll add about 300 lbs to the rear surf side. Speed at 10.4 taps at 3 to 4.... things will be different if it does not include the vx. We payed 63k out the door for ours a couple months back loaded about the same as yours, so I'd say 60 is a great deal, especially with some freebies thrown in.

We bought a 2015 new this year as well. We surf the majority of the time and the comment above is correct. We have the VX and the goofy wave would not form with the surf ballast under any combination of settings we tried. We added a W705 (stated as 650 lbs) and got a nice wave. Port side would form even without the extra ballast but more is better in this case. When we tested an R20 last fall without the VX (with factory surf ballast) both sides had a decent wave without additional ballast. I have video of that if you are interested.
As far as price goes I would agree that it's in the ballpark for sure.

We're a family of four as well, we fit great and have really enjoyed the boat. I would agree that it would start getting cramped beyond 6 people in the boat though.
When we tested a 2015 R20 without the VX it put out a clean wake on both sides. Maybe it was a fluke, I don't know but I thought it was pretty cool for a 20 footer. Here's the link to the video, hopefully it works.

I bought my 2015 R20 back in spring. I love it. I only have 900lbs stock ballast but it still creates a surfable wave (waiting on some fittings so I can install my ballast upgrade).
I do not have the VX.
More than 6 people is a crowd, but 8 can be done. Had 10 once... almost put a gun in my mouth.
Test drive it. Make sure EVERYTHING works. Speedo, cruise, taps2, usb port for audio, everything.
I've included some recent pics.. I didn't look them over too well before posting so they may not be the best shots, but you'll get the idea.
Seat bolster allows even the 5'0 driver to see over the bow at surfing speeds
