LED Tower Lights color not sync'ed

Any suggestions on how to get my tower light colors to sync. when I cycle through the color options they don't match up. so I get one blue and one red, etc... but never all blue or all red. while the red and blue and white on the floor was cool for the 4th of July, I am ready to have them synced

    2013 Z3

    Thanks for the help

So just to clarify: all the interior LED colors match when chosen and all the tower speaker LED colors match, all strips are a uniform color its just the the tower and in-boat rings are always a different color?

If so, one the two harnesses is wired incorrectly at the RGB controller. If you choose blue for example and the tower is red, then its the tower harness that incorrect. You need to isolate that harness, disconnect it, test the 3 color leads using a 9V battery and then reconnect them to the controller on the proper color output, which is labeled. Just note, the strip has a common B+ and the ground side controls the different colors.

CRJ, I had the same issue happen to me over July 4th. The tower lights had always been synced before, but are now displaying different colors.

I don't think it could be a wiring issue as they worked correctly before.

If you have multiple colors displaying within a single ring, there is an issue with that strip. If you cannot get all 3 primary colors to cleanly light on any single ring, then there is an issue where the lead is soldered to the strip.

Beyond this, you would have to have a multi-zone controller thats capable of independent mode on each chnl and its program has changed.

          Hey Mike,

If I am remembering correctly, there are two lights on the bottom of the tower that shine down from the tower into the boat. They always start out as white and can be cycled to other colors, white then red then blue. Now, when I cycle from white to something else, one will be red and the other is blue.

How does one take out the light to check the lead?

Are both you guys taking about the multi-color courtesy lights or LED speaker rings not the same as the interior rings?

I am talking about the multi-color courtesy lights. Not speaker rings.

I had the same thing happen temporarily with our 2015 Z3 but I shut off the batteries and reboot the tige touch and everything went back to normal after that.

There have been a few issues with this come up and most likely is is due to the TT. If you are turning the batteries off and then back on to correct it, I would recommend you have your dealer reboot/upload the Tige Touch program since that is the true computer/controller of all the electrical systems.

I had a new update installed last weekend and it fixed that issue but I guess they are coming out with another update since the screen has been freezing on a few other boats as well.

Thanks guys. I will try the battery disconnect and see if that works.
