What boat has better Surf wave Z1 or RZ2

I am looking at getting either a 2015 Z1 or a 2015 RZ2.
Curious as to what everyone thinks has the better surf wave.

You're going to have more interior room in the RZ2 but the new Z1 has a higher freeboard so when you list over you won't need to get the rubrail to the water like the RZ2 likes. Take a look at the Wake9 video on the RZ2 and then search for some Z1 video for wave shape comparisons but I bet they are going to be similar size. The most important thing is to try to get out on the water in each to give them a fair comparison. Each owner uses them slightly differently and they appreciate some features more than others, so you have to get your hands on both and give yourself a good comparison.

I doubt one is better than the other. When I was making my decision, I chose the Z1 because of the deeper freeboard, and because it was a newer design. As Ewok said, the RZ2 gets a bit deeper in to the water. I never have my rub rail in the water, even with big ballast.

I personally preferred the look and the bow space of the RZ2 though.

yeah my rubrail is always in the water lol if you know anyone around ur area with both boats or your dealer has them in stock check and see if you can ride both of them and also think about how your gonna use the boat on the lake, and which one you prefer. then you gotta post up your pics when you pull the trigger. Either way both boats are great!
