Oh and by the way We looked at the 22Ve closely and the only space you gain in the lounge area is behind the driver's seat where the foot platform is on the 22V, basically about 1 a Butt cheek. Or 1/2 a Butt cheek if you're a large dude.
I'm not sure why some of the postings were saying that there was measurable room in the Ve's, that's just not true.
I feel Tige needs to come up with a better spring set up in the three storage compartments on the transom, boy talk about CHEAP A$$.

Sorry about all the questions I'm a newbie to this forum and I don't have a tige yet . For me this purchase $$$ has to make sense from a use standpoint otherwise it will not be worth it. I was of course curious as to how much use your boats get which would of course justify my case or not for purchasing one . Anyway the Tahoe is packed and we are off to the lake, temp. is supposed to be around 25 - 30 C for the next week so I will be burning some gas. Later

I live very close to the lake, and keep mine in the garage year round. To winterize I don't have to do much. Fuel stabilizer, drain water from the block, fog the engine etc. With the 3 (DD / V-drive) boats I've owned, I have had no issues, except for a carb rebuild on a '79 mastercraft. The nice thing about these boats is the engine is easily accessible. The side dividers in the storage compartments are removable, so you have the entire back of the boat open.

We (I) wakeboard / wakesurf and my kids enjoy swimming. I'm hoping that all changes as they get older.
I don't put very many hours on my boat because I just drop in at the boat ramp and the cove, where we wakeboard, is right around the corner. Maybe 25-30 hrs. a year.

The deep freeboard, solid handling, huge storage, and solid wake are well worth the $$$ spent. The bimini and tower are plenty tall, which is nice as well.
