    Added Light Bar

So I got a little bored this afternoon and decided to mount this puppy I found on eBay.. Hasn't gotten dark enough yet to see how bright it's gonna be. Have to get it out on the water to dial in the aim. Light is a white 34" 180w spot/flood combo with CREE LEDs and the mounts are some I ordered from Westin and painted white. Fished the wires down through the tower(which turned into a little more of a project than I expected, because the hole through the top of the gunwale inside the tower tube was tiny) and found the factory pigtail to tie into the tower light switch..

Are those LED or Halogen lamps? Total wattage? I like how the bar looks.

I know the post might have been a little long but it's a 34" 180watt spot/flood combo with Cree LED's...

Just curious why you face the spot light to the rear of the boat?

My buddies and I do a ton of night surfing.. I'll aim the light at the swim platform to light up the wake for the surfer. Haven't ever done it with a light bar. We've always had just halogens, and that worked pretty good, so I'm excited to see how this works.

We also night surf a lot but anywhere in front of those bars it is blinding usually... Underwater lights are the best things for surfing in my experiences. After that a few spot lights mounted to aim just off the back corner on each side of the boat are helpful.

I hate to be the naysayer but isn't surfing at night in Missouri/Arkansas taboo. Was last time I was down there. Hate to have a TRL Scarab patrol find you.

Yea it's a little against the rules, but I'm not too worried about water patrol scarabs... (They're all in center console formulas now). But really, the Missouri water patrol doesn't venture into the Arkansas waters, at least I've never seen it in my 12+ years being on TRL. The Arkansas side of the line is patrolled by the Arkansas game and fish and there is so little of TRL in Arkansas, only a couple miles on each end, that they hardly mess with it. They spend their time on beaver lake, at least the ones in this district. I've seen them on table rock maybe 3 times ever, and they were stopping bass boats and checking for licenses. So we load up some friends and head across the line and around the corner into Arkansas... If something ever does happen, we have an agreement that everybody in the boat will split the fines.. So, that's how we do it.. Illegal? Yes... But I don't wear a seatbelt either....

                    Then Enjoy.... :ro

Have not been on Beaver in many years. When down that way we focused on TRL and BS. On TRL at Kimberling City and BS near Oakland Went to same resort on TRL for 8 years and one on BS for 10. 2-3 1 week trips a season. Slalom Ski, Hydrofoil, tube and swim all day and troll for whites at night. Good times.

Ya, I may be a little biased, but it's pretty nice down here... We venture to LOTO about once a summer, usually just to watch the shootout and hang with some friends that have a summer place there... But my wife and kids love to be on table rock.. It's relaxing as can be and you can usually find glass somewhere in the middle of the day, yet you can also find a party cove if that's your poison...

Know any good real estate brokers down there?

I do know of a few, just depends on where you wanna be.. As you know, table rock covers a pretty large area, so the first step would be to narrow down a little where you would wanna be.. Since your out of town, webpages like realtor.com and zillow would help a lot in directing you to properties in your price range and also show what's available on different parts of the lake.

Thanks. Good Idea as a first shot. I would love to be Lakeside but those prices would be way out of my pocketbook now. Need to be near a Wally World because of wife. Would love to be no more than1/2 or so hour out of Branson but still near TLC or BS. Have some homework to do. Is either that area or Northern Colorado or Southern Wyoming. Granddaughter in Colorado. I love the lakes but my watersports days are gone. Left leg will not hold up to stress of skiing. Maybe I will be able to surf. Want to be near lakes so I can take grandkids skiing and surfing in a few years
