I think I may have one of those plates left. That taps plate is on all of the 2015 and up models as far as I know. We helped design that from hours of testing with the Z3 and VX.

Yeah? Got any plans for it?

Robert is right on about which prop is on it.

Larry, I came home so frustrated from not being able to get that goofy side to clean that we took it back out today on Jordanelle. It's quite a bit colder up here than down south.. I am missing St. George already! I've never had to wear duck hunting gear on a wake boat before.

Here is a link to the video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnmtwkBVnMI
On the boat today it was just me (#140) and my dad (#190) running stock ballast. My dad did move from side to side when we transferred like how Robert suggested early today.

Here are some images from today.20151123_145416_HDR.jpg20151123_145421_HDR.jpg20151123_145425_HDR.jpg20151123_145322_HDR.jpg20151123_145314_HDR.jpg20151123_145314_HDR.jpg20151123_151936_HDR.jpg20151123_155713_HDR.jpg

It looks like we are ready to come back down to show you the goofy side again, let me know when!

@ Adam - What changes were made between the demo in St. George and the photos above on Jordanelle? Different prop? Additional ballast or just stock?

How fast were you going in the video? Goofy wave looks nice!

MetalCraft Trailer in Salt Lake City. We decided to give them a try because they are local, the trailer turned out really nice.

In St. George we had 6 guys in the boat and 1 rider, today it was just me and my dad. In St. George we tried running an additional #400 in each rear locker, today we just ran stock ballast and had my dad switch from side to side as we transferred. We did reset the ballast timers today, we think it had something to do with messy goofy side in St. George. I wish we would have had more time in St. George to make it perfect for Tall and the other guys down there.

We were going 11 MPH with the same settings as in the photos above.

Wonder if the combination of 6 adults and the extra ballast was just too much mid/rear weight? Like ragboy pointed out, more time dialing in this beast with various configurations and it will be impressive on both sides for sure!

                      Adam,

Did you try to get to wakeboard speeds at Jordanelle with full stock ballast? It was disappointing to not get there easily with the strongest available engine. (Jordanelle is over 6,000 feet for those outside of the area.) I am still sure a prop reduction would do the trick.

Soooo...does this mean that a person can't surf with 400 pounds in each locker and 6 people in the boat? I wonder if we should have removed all of that gear from the front of the boat and had 3 or 4 of us go up there to see what that would have done.
                      Be excellent to one another.

This video is with like 9 people in the boat and 700 lbs in each corner, we were trying a heavier setup. I had to drop about 200 lbs or so out of the stock bags and then on goofy another 150 or so. But I also could have added a bit more bow weight if I wanted to.

It can handle the weight with that motor, and probably the 440 with the right prop. I am sure you guys are going to dial that thing in real soon for your customers.

Let me know if you need any help. ;-)

I am sure that with a little more gentle slowing down, this is avoidable too. This doesn't happen at all on either boat while surfing.
I was not informed of this "issue" that is possible with the G23 (and others) and I was demoing a 2016 G23 a few weeks ago and pulled off of the throttle and soaked everyone in the back seat, not just the swim pad. I can't even describe the amount of water that came through that tunnel and into the cabin but it was enough to turn the bilge pump on afterwards. Water temp was in the low 60's so needless to say, they were not happy with me!

Can anyone confirm the height on the trailer with the tower up and down?

The blue RZX pictured above is 10'6" on the trailer with the tower up and 9' with the tower down.

And just so you know, I'll have an available spot in the RV garage soon for you to keep an RZX in Vegas all winter! HA!
