That wave is sick, but that exhaust is horrible definitely needs a surf pipe like the G series boats

I agree, we will most likely install something aftermarket for our customers before they purchase the boat. The boat didn't seem to have the exhaust like that when we first delivered the boat in July... It is a lot colder now though, about 30 degrees.

Are you by chance Raymond Smith?

Nope wrong Smith, but do agree with the colder weather being a factor looking forward to wake9's review of the RZX and the other boats in there event this weekend looking hard at the RZX and the Supra's mainly the SA or SE,does the Z3 have that exhaust issue also?

OK guys, since this thread is the defacto spot, post the questions you want me to find out while I have the boat...

It is ginormous, and gorgeous by the way. We are installing the Curl-View rig on it now for today's testing.

Does that RZX have the 575 SC or the 440?

The cold may play a factor, but when I rode behind the 16s it was 90-100 deg out and it was very noticeable while surfing. My wife actually commented and she is oblivious to things like this! Can't remember exactly but was thinking it was worse on one side versus the other. obviously worse on the side where the exhaust is and isn't under water.

Well its obvious the wave is HUGE but size dosnt really equal push,so I am interested in push and just how far you can go back before losing the pocket? and on a ride stand point while surfing do the passengers get soaked with spray? G23 into a slight head wind you have thought we was in a monsoon not a dry spot to be found that was to be corrected on the 2016 models but havent been in one yet just 2015,Thank you for doing this how awesome.

I am hoping to answer those well later today or after this weekend and have video and pictures to back it up. But for now...

@adam, I am hoping the 440, cuz I am about to go put gas in it. I am stoked this morning!

the G25 does the same thing in a slight head wind. Lots of splash and its obnoxious. Wouldn't think a boat that large should be taking on splash on the window but it does. My Z3 takes on way less splash in the same wind.

I am in a rush to get to lake, but I am going to tackle a few of these....

                        it has the 575.

I don't know about the spray, but I don't think it will have that problem, more on that later.

Push, hell yeah, more than you know what to do with. No joke. Chris Wolter referred to the wake as massive, Chris Martinez (fellow tige owner) said it was incredibly forgiving, at times he felt like he couldn't fall. 360s were much easier for him cause it just kept you back in.

We were STOCK weight. We added some at the beginning of the day, you can see it bigger in the pictures and the motor is revved higher and so some exhaust. Then we went to stock, it was outstanding, no exhaust issues then and ran about 3600 rpm.

Those are the pictures, and you can see all the people. so stock, but lots of people. 11 of us cuz hunter was not quite there yet when we took pictures.

TAPS3 is not as adjustable as AVX, but it does adjust. However, the transition on the RZX is beautiful and power is amazing.

The thing is, I can't be embarrassed at the EWT, I need the best damn wakesurf wake for the EWT. After riding this boat for just one day (4 hours) we are all confident that this boat is going to be BETTER for the Endless Wave Tour and we are intending on weighting it FLAT.

In the pictures and the entire 4 hours we never listed, all TAPS 3 and we weighted so that no one had to move when going side to side. We need to work, there was a period we had the weight perfect that when you went side to side, both sides had no cut, clean and good lip. If you are a little off, one side has a bit of a cut, the other is clean. You can move one passenger to clean it up, but it is possible to keep everyone stationary at all times AND get it clean, but we have to work that out a bit.

This is the first boat where RJ and I felt like the shape was there and size, running flat with system. And the system is fast and very reliable. We never had it NOT make a wave.

Lots more to come, lots of video.

OH, and WITH the 575 supercharger, we surfed 4 hours, topped it off after and it only used around 8GPH, just less. I think if the prop was played with a bit, and maybe try a 440, under 6 seems doable, running flat with all that weight we had. What, 2000 lbs in people I think?

What were your Taps set at?

Looks like fun!! We went back out on the demo with the customer last night. I am in love with this boat.

That's pretty thirsty compared to what you are used to!
