RZX - one place for all rumors

Here is a link to a surf and wakeboard wake behind the RZX at a lake near the Tige factory. Video shot by Jeff with performancemarineloz.com so no fancy cameras etc. Pro rider Nick Dietrich is in the wakeboard video and pro Chase Schuster is on boat also. They did have an addtl 1200 on floor and 500 on rear seat.

Speed in surf video was around 11.4. Before anyone comments about the added ballast weight, this boat will surf with way less weight and will be just as clean. Most ppl will have close to that much added ballast with gear ppl etc. I haven't seen a pro out on a boat that will use them with less weight! For the average every day boater this thing rocks IMO!

Last year when we had the asr for a weekend I could not believe the amount of air he was getting off the double up. Never seen anyone go that high.

showing all this weight in the boat though is not doing anything for its off the shelf wave which is what everyone wants, no bags showing etc. would like to see some vids of that. but yeah he sure was up there.

I would agree but at the same time, it sure hasnt hurt the reputation of the X-Star to have it pulling the pro tour with a couple thousand lbs of extra ballast in it

For comparison, this is the ASR wake at 22 mph 70' out. Front full, rear at half. 10' water depth. The girl is about 5'8" tall.

I would put money on it that they were just being lazy or had lack of bags to put in the lockers to get same effect. There is so much storage on that boat that visual sacs are not required.

Picked up this bad boy from Petersen Marine as soon as it arrived off the truck. 2nd RZX sold in Utah. Took it to Lake Powell the next week. This boat rocks!!! Best wakeboard wake I've ever had a tow on. Boat has all sorts of power and is great out of the hole.

So I have a customer that wants a demo on a Super Charged RZX, but we are currently out of stock on the 575 SC RZX's at our Mesa and Orem locations.. Luckily I have some awesome previous customers!! The Johnson family that purchased the first RZX back in July were kind enough to let me borrow their boat. I owe them big time!

We went out tonight to make sure everything worked correctly and boy it sure did!

Let me know what you think of it! It's all stock ballast with 5 average sized guys in the boat. Ballast all full. TAPS plate at 5, TAPS3 at 4. This was our first real chance to have some test time behind the wheel.

Wave looks terrific!!

One thing I noticed in your video, and when I surfed the new Taps3 boat is the exhaust is terrible. Wonder if Tige has plans to add a FAE or similar setup to eliminate the fumes?
