Side to Side switching?

Looks like the 2016 will have side to side switch on the fly. Check out the latest vid on the Facebook feed. You can see the boat rock hard to starboard as Kerr lands the other side before the video is clipped.

Wake 9 was able to do a side to side transfer with a transfer pump from bag to bag. I would be surprised if there was a split AVX coming out. My guess is a massive transfer pump. I don't think they would have bought a 2015 either, if anyone knew of something big in 2016 and it would have been them. I could be wrong though who knows. Maybe they will chime in.

I don't know, that boat rocks over starboard really quick in the last few seconds of the vid, don't think you could do that with a transfer pump, maybe a ramfill type setup.

Also, comes down to whether or not you have to switch sides quickly. I think I've ballasted goofy one time this year so far. So it wouldn't do much for me. But it might be invaluable to some folks. I'd rather empty and fill faster.

The new boat stuff is certainly coming like gangbusters. Moomba dropped their new boat today and Nautique will have their reveal on the 17th. Malibu revealed there surf remote and we'll see what Tige has in store for us tomorrow.

I saw a picture somewhere the other day and tige does have its own surfgate type system now. It was called taps 3 or something .the picture I saw didn't seem to have an avx either.

My 16 rz4 is suppose to b ready end of the month. It has something new an I don't really even now what it is. They say it's pretty sweet an Tom we will no. I will let u no how it works when we hit the water with it. All I have is the design pic an it doesn't show anything.

If they have a plate system like what Centurion and Supra are doing then TAPS3 would work as a new being there would be 3 plates. Nice since it also follows Taps2.

TAPS2 is not two plates. It is the 2nd version of TAPS with a different plate and actuator.

Oh the cutting edge of tech! Exciting to see all the new stuff, but hard to keep up. Do love my AVX. Curious if it will still be around, or if I now have a collectors edition on my hands!
