Garage door height for Z1

I am considering upgrading from my RZR to a new Z1. Only problem is I believe the height of the Z1 is much "higher" than the RZR and will not fit under my garage header.
Would any of you be willing to give me the minimum height (actual measurement in inches) from the floor to the highest point of the Alpha Z tower "collapsed" in half for garage storage? Consider standard Boatmate trailer with 14" tires and bemini removed. I am not sure if the windshield or tower is the highest point on the Z1.

My RZR measures 80". How much taller is the 2014, 2015, or 2016 Z1 model?
After I get an accurate measurement, I may need to have a contractor come out and see if I can gain a few inches by replacing a the door panel and raising my door header a few inches.

I've got a '14 Z1 & put the boat in my garage at the end of the season. The door for that side of the garage is 7'H x 9'W. My driveway goes up to the garage & I use an adjustable drawbar hitch at a low setting to put boat in. It clears by less than an inch on all sides. (My son sat on the tower to make sure it was at its lowest possible height.

After putting in there at the end of last season, my wife let me know we would not be doing that during the summer as it is pretty stressful being that tight.

So you need 83 or 84 inches to clear? Sounds like the tallest point is 83 inches?

Yep, but like I said-I use a lower hitch drawbar to bring the windshield down to that point.

Thanks for the link. What a science project to get a measurement. It does not help when I read anywhere 78", 82, 85, and 88 inches to clear the door opening. Some say the windshield and some say the tower base is the highest point.

Then 14" rims vs 18" rims.....how much does that add to height?

Jean is fantastic. She stated the highest point is 80" with 14" rims for the new Z1. Seems a bit low to me compared to everyone telling me 82 - 83 inches with 14" rims.

I go in and out of my 7 foot door (83" with the weatherstripping in place) at least twice a week with our Z3 (14" wheels, boatmate tandem trailer). The tower just brushes the rubber part of the weather stripping, but it fits no problem.

Z1 and Z3 should be the same height.
