    Bimini for 2005 22v with E-series tower

Need suggestions where to get a collapsible bimini top to fit the e-serier tower on my 05 22v. Storage racks are not mandatory.

Towerbiminis.com I got a bimini from them for my 2007 24ve with the e series tower. They had a very fast turnaround and it is a great product. Have them send you some pics.

Do you have any pics of your Bimini on the e series tower? I am looking at possibly replacing mine.

Great Lakes Boat Top Company is who built the bimini's for Tige E series tower. I'm not sure if they will sell customer direct but if not simply have your dealer contact them. They are several hundred less than towerbiminis.com

They will sell direct - I just bought one. There was a lot of confusion however - there are 2 distinct part numbers to order. At first they only sent me one (the extender). Here is what it is going to look like.

Here is the person I've been working with there - she is terrific.

It looks pretty small, and being so high it isn't going to give much shade anytime except high noon. Maybe that is OK with a smaller cockpit on the 20V. I wonder if they can make the extension a lot longer for a 24V. That is one of the tallest (if not the very tallest) tower on the market and although I hate stooping, I would aim for a below the tower bimini. It also looks like you are going to have to make some mods to it when you get tower speakers.

Tower biminis made one for my last boat, and it was a terrific bimini. It was good and strong, I was even able to put some surfboard pockets in it.
              Be excellent to one another.

I had a bimini similar to Rhoads on my 22ve and loved it. It didn't have the rear extension and I'm glad it didn't as I like a simple setup bimini. The nice thing about them being above the tower is the quick setup and tear down. Simple zipper on back and 2 straps on front to hold down. When not using same removal and zip in boot around top tower leg and tow down the road.

Speakers can be added to that lower top leg and will be high enough to not hit your head on. On extremely hot days we would use towels held up with those plastic clips while parked on the beach if more shade was needed for the kids. Besides it seems they need dried out anyway. Wish the Alpha Z tower was as easy to install/tear down as my last boat!

Reviving my old thread. I measured my tower to be 65" right below the forward/front arc. I'm considering a 52" wide x 60" long bimini top on Ebay. Would that be too narrow on an E-series tower? There would be roughly 6" gap on both sides of that bimini.
