    Its that time

Well guys its finally time to pull the trigger on a Tige.

I have had several tournament boats in my time but never a tige. With that being said I was looking for a little advice and input regarding choice.

The boat will be used for 50/50 boarding-surfing.

I have grown up boarding and enjoy a nice day doing spins and inverts but I definitely can't see me torching my knees forever and it seems as though most are really on the surf train which means most of my guests and friends will fall into that realm.

Its just my wife and I, we are expecting here after the first of the year and also my dad and limited family. My guess is i will have 8-10 people out most trips.

I was teetering between the Z3 and the Rz2 so with that said plusses and minuses would be awesome also, can someone give me a realistic realm price wise that I will be in? I know what the local dealer MSRP's are but not what guys are realistically paying for a middle to higher equipped boat.

My price point is in the 80's

    Thanks everyone, I appreciate it!

I have a z1 I'm bout to put up for sale. It's a good surf boat. Have not really boarded much on it though. The z3 and rz2 are both excellent choices. You will have no problem finding one in the 80's

Both boats are great choices. Ask a dealer for a ride on both and have several ppl on board to give you an idea of what both can do with that many ppl. The Z3 will have a touch more room, but not a significant amount, and is going to be less weight sensitive to in boat movement. 8-10 adults is going to be plenty of ppl on either of those boats IMO. I don't like a crowd of ppl on board though! I would say do the Z3 as I love ours but again that is my opinion. Test them both!!

I would say mid to high 80s and have seen some dealers asking in the 90s on a 15 model with most options and trailer is a good number on the Z3. Depends on dealer and area for sure where are you located? The 16s are coming out in the next couple weeks so might hold off and see what they have added to them. May want to go after a 15 model and save thousands in the next couple months.

The Z3 has a fantastic Regular surf wave, good goofy wave and decent wakeboard wake above 21 MPH. Make sure you fill the bow and keep the back relatively empty when you wakeboard.

We pulled the trigger on a 2015 Z3 and had a couple small hiccups at first but the dealer had everything fixed within a couple hours. We love the space the boat has in it and we love the surf wake!

Cain the boat is beautiful, I was at the dealer a few hours and settled on a 2015 z3, but I'm having trouble getting the price right. I love the boat but at 97,000 list he was refusing for the moment to get me into the 80s. The boat didn't have anything option wise that reflected the price so. For now I wait :/
