    04 24v Ignition beeping

Wondering how to get the beeping to not happen when the ignition is on right before you fire the motor. Any tricks to make it happen and where is it coming from it is extremely loud and obnoxious? Thanks!

It's by design. Before it fires you have no oil pressure so is in alarm. That's my understanding anyway.

I guess it would be possible to work around it but not sure it's worth it.

you dont want to go around this that is also the warning for all kinds of things and when you disconnect it you lose the warning if something should go wrong. im not aware of a way to make it go away with the motor off but still work when motor is running.

That same sounder is what tells you theres an engine issue while running. How long are you pausing in RUN before cranking?

With a bit of electronics you could use the tach signal to break a relay to the sounder. All seems a bit unnecessary and if it went wrong could leave you in a lot of trouble.
