Just to save you the embarrassment, thought I would help. Let our kiddo ride in the boat on the way to launch with the wife. Went to start the boat and nothing. Called the dealer and had them working on it, looked down and saw the kill switch lanyard on the deck. Yah...put it back on and zang! She fired right up! Felt pretty stupid.

Some of them you can just reverse the wires on the back of the switch and then the kill switch works backwards. That is what I did. Then when the kill switch is in place, the boat won't start. Sort of a sneaky little theft deterrent. Then I also never had to worry about having what happened to Palle Man. It happened to me once. I tossed a T shirt next to the driver's seat and it dislodged the kill switch. On that boat, the engine turns over, but it just won't start. Thankfully, I figured it out before I got a tow in.Be excellent to one another.
