I feel for you man. I have 231.2 trouble free hours so far (knock on wood). I've taken it to the dealer once to get the 25 hour service done to the engine and a 25 item punch list of little things that needed attention but that's it, I've done all the other Mx myself. I have replaced 2 batteries and a steering cable and I service the fluids at recommended intervals. I also added some much bigger ballast bags to the rear lockers and reinforced the rear locker walls between the lockers and the engine. I also put down faux teak sea deck on all the places that come stock plus the top of the gunwales and replaced the hard rubber é swim platform pad with matching faux teak seadeck. There were struggles with all the projects but that's how these boats are.
All of our boats are really 1 off customs and no two boats are the same. Some are put together better than others and it's very difficult to have a reasonable level of quality control without jacking up the prices too high. As others have said, it's up to the dealer to be the final level of quality control and get the boat running right prior to delivery and, of course, after the sale. I've seen threads like this again and again and the biggest takeaway is that unless your comfortable and confident doing the work yourself, the quality of the dealer is more important than the quality of the boat.
Thanks for sharing your experience, keep us in loop for the source of the problem and the final solution, someone else will definitely benefit from your experience.
