Road Trip

Had to make a 4 hour trip to a Tige dealer yesterday instead of being on the water. I have been having issues for a few weeks. Had a dealer about 20 minutes away but she is in jail for selling people's boats without there approval. She owes 5 people for over 200,000. Needless to say I had to find a new dealer.

Yes she was selling the same boat to multiple people. 5 boats we know of so far. A 2013 RZR, 2012 R20, 2014 Z1, 2014 Z3 and 2014 ASR all of these boats where sold without permission and now have multiple owners. I think mine was next on the list but got lucky on my timing.

Sounds like she was a great salesperson! Sounds like if someone could keep her off the coke and keep the titles straight, she has some skills, haha.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Glad to hear that your boat did not get sold, what a mess. We had a car dealership in my town doing the same thing for a while. Lots of people got hurt, and the money was mostly smoked or snorted, so there was really no recourse for most of the people who got taken.

Easy to sell, when your giving them away for cheap , I am just guessing she was trying to sell the boats for a fraction of what they were worth....

That just blows my mind that dealer was doing that. I have a policy of never hitting a lady, but she needs slapped from what Gibbs is saying.

I think mine has a transmission problem. They are going to let me know once they get in there.

Did some searching and ran across this article. It says she is a staff member and that sucks for them as their trust will be hard to gain again.

She is the owner and they are now shut down. Another dealer has already bought the property.

Looks like my boat is gonna be in the shop for a while they said it needs a new transmission. This is very bad timing for me and my family I'm off work all next wee and no Tige to use. Hope they can fix it soon. I'm not very happy about that. Sucks for a new boat to have problems like this.
