Man that activity looks so awesome. I'll be wrapping up a project that week so I doubt I can go. I'll email them and see if they have anything in the evening. Man bad timing.

Well went back last weekend and the new bracket worked much better. Was able to go outside both wakes and get the feel of it. Really glad to get back on the water.

Tried to use my leg set up I made. It felt really secure and I felt I could really ride, but without a knee I couldn't get enough bend to get up and out of the water. Was kind of bummed. Guess I'll have to start saving for the motto knee...

          Congrats and welcome back.
My son is on the Jr. Committee for Texas Scottish Rite hospital. He helps fundraise money for kids with amputees or imperfect limbs at birth. We have been to the lab and it is amazing what they are able to do. This year they raised money to buy almost 3 Bebionic hands for kids. They also have thier amputees go on an annual snow ski trip. Have you looked into anything that is designed for winter sports that could be modified for the water.

Awesome to see you riding again, Dom! Way to go man. I hope you can get a knee setup for that thing. It's gotta be pretty spendy.

Wasn't the air chair originally designed as a para-ski? That was along time ago I saw it. I thought I saw it Waterski magazine way back when. I've always had a sort of fascination with that stuff. I love the engineering aspect.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Way to go Dom. My brother in law lost his right leg due to motocross crash a while back and he has been able to hydrofoil without any significant issues for a few years now.
He goes with and without a sport prosthesis. so as Tall said hydrofoiling with an airchair is definitely possible and is enjoyable. He is doing full flips now off the boats wake with a helmut. And as you'all drummed into my head a picture is required.

Wow... It's an old timer's thread. LOL

Great to see you back on the water Dom (I caught it on FB.)

You could always give up one of the rides for the knee.
