Talk me out of the new Centurion '44 and into a Z3 (ragboy are you out there?)

The 24V is gone. 4 great years with no issues whatsoever!

    Now I have no boat.

Seriously looking at the Centurion FX 44's with quick fill and Cat'. The idea that you can fill up one side of the boat in 30 odd seconds is amazing. The Cat' wave shaping thing sounds great too.

BUT to be honest I have no idea what the wave is like on these boats. I do love the deep V of the Centurions. Tahoe can get red flagged alot' and a deep v would be awesome

My budget is near 80 grand for low hour boat

          I have the 2015 Z3, My other choice was a Centurion FS33.

The Z3 is refined! It has better fit and finish, more thought out controls and layout, beautiful boat and the wave is pretty gosh darn good. I did however need to upgrade the sacks to 1600 lb sacks, add 400 lbs of lead in the rear corners and 2-300 in the observer seat or drivers seat based on regular and goofy...

I really like my Tige Z3 but the wave on the Centurion is bigger, longer, has more back end push and is a MONSTER Wave!!! I don't think anyone will deny its amazing out of the box without adding any weight over stock + Plug and play.... THe whole fact of delayed convergence via the CATS gives it a bit of a leg up. As long as you don't mind an interior of a ... well much plainer boat lol

My best friend just bought a 2015 Centurion FS33. We tend to surf more in his boat than mine because of the equal amount of regular and goofy riders. Doesn't matter where anyone is sitting in the centurion..the wave is always good! Just adjust the cats and BOOM!!!

If I had to make the decision again... I don't know what I would chose... I really dont....

Good luck with your decision..I hope I helped...

The FS33 is wicked, as for more. Refined... Hmmmm I would ha e agreed back 3 years ago, but not now, my 210ss fit and finish is every good as my 2013 z1 was, so the next question is, which dealer will support you better....

centurion factory is less than 2 hours from my house.

one thing I DON'T LIKE are those downfiring tower speakers.

I feel like Centurion's build is basic and looks cheap, especially for the price. Axis is less expensive, and I think looks better than Centurion's line up. I think Axis wakes are pretty good too, and surfgate is nice. I would never buy anything but a Tige, and there are many reasons why.

wakegate? I don't care about no stinking wakegate lol. I haven't seen one fake gate wave that even came close to my 24V

Seriously when you can fill up your ballast in 30 seconds and the wave is killer what beats that?

I'm not worried much about build quality either. If it f*cked up I'd drive right up to the front door of the factory and take no prisoners

They are an option, that can be skipped in favor of your own setup

I was amazed to see ho much of the storage space was taken up by the ballast. Only room for a few towels and jackets. Nothing under the seats and nothing in the real lockers if you run the PnP.

Heres a video from the Polar Bear 2014 I attended last year. The boats are the Axis T22, Supra Sa350, Nautique G21, Wake9 Z3, Centurion FS33 and Tige Z3. It is a pretty good idea of what it looks like.

I agree the centurion interiors have gotten better but still can't touch the Tige Interiors with Fit and finish, overall feel...

You technically would be buying a Nautique now lol... Nautique bought Fineline Industries!

I dislike the Downfire as well. My buddy put on 2 pairs of Rev 10s. Much better sound IMO!

Chp is correct you don't need downfire, I've got a single pair of Rev 10's on mine, nice blue colour!!!! But yes storage can be an issue, but if your gonna load down a z3, storage can also be an issue.....

But what about that ridiculously ugly Centurion dash?
                              Seriously, what is this mess?
