Z1Fan. Not trying to slam your purchase and I am happy that you enjoy your boat and feel the way you do about it. The thing about boats is that you pay a pile of money for them and if you have no pride it it, there is no point and will just focus on what it is costing you and takes the fun out of boating.

Tige uses the best vinlys in the industry and Gortex threads. Over the years the tige vinyls do not show the age that they used to before 2013. They even got better in 2014. It is the one huge improvement that tige made over the years as they used to be slammed so much for there simple and poor vinyl. I know my 04 factory vinyls would only last a couple seasons before splitting and cracking. When if comes to quality interiors it is pretty tough to beat a tige in that department. The new Supra's are pretty close though if not the same. MC, SAN and BU are behind as well. Most are still using something to hide the seams like piping. Piping hides imperfections and is point of failure for long term use. Mildew and grime like to set in.

Everyone is entitled to there own opinion and how they feel a boat should look. That is why there are so many.

Moose, being in tahoe you also have the benefit of being close to MB's biggest dealer (AFAIK), Larson Marine. They can make you a better deal than pretty much anyone in the country. My bet would be you could get a rousch supercharged 6.2 in a 23wb for near your $80K mark (+/-) brand new. You could sack it out and have oprah, chris christie and paula deen in the boat. They (MB) have a surf system, but I've not really seen anything out of it I'd call good (at least running flat) but it does seem to help a listed boat extend the wave.

        Shawdoggy is correct.

The new MB B52 23 is a sick boat. It surfs aweseomly and wakeboards quite well!

It was a strong contender in my top boats but in the end I just wanted to try a different brand.

Great fit and finish for the price and great value!

Just knowing what I know from being in Moose's neighborhood.... any boat with that rousch 575 would sure be intriguing.

I have spent about 20 hours surfing a fx44 this year. It has the 550 hp motor. The surf wake is the best I have ever rode. Lots of push and force. I think there are more down sides to it the pros. Exhaust smells horrible. No storage. Seats are really narrow but you have a lot of foot room. wake board wake is huge but always has white wash on the top. Boat sinks the bow all the time. He has pnp rear ballast. We dont notice a difference in the wake when it is full. Great surf wake but thats about it.
