    Wanted - Alpha Z Bimini

If anybody has a bimini for the Alpha Z tower for sale, please PM me. I attempted to buy one today from my local dealer and was quoted about $1000 more then what they told me one would cost when I inquired about it about six months ago. Has anybody purchased a bimini lately and of so, how much did you pay?

Surf pockets and extension or not, willing to pay a fair price and shipping to Colorado.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Have you tried any other dealers to see if that price is comparable?

That is my plan for tomorrow. I'm hoping to find that to be the case. I get these things are expensive, but $2400 just seems high.

      Thanks!

gotta say being in the business of custom making biminis 2400 is not that insane. if I custom made one for the Alpha Z, I would probably charge that or slightly higher given what hardware is involved and the time.

Thanks for the feedback. When you reference the hardware involved, do you mean the bars that are used to support the canvas or the brackets to mount to the tower? My boat had a bimini originally that I'm guessing the first owner sold or destroyed somehow. My tower has the mounting hardware on the sides already. And I can tell from paint marks that it used to have one attached.

I have an extra Alpha Z bimini top (no surf flaps). But no extra poles.

I just mean what is involved to build it. Nothing specific. It just all ads up and most biminis dont have those retractable arms in front, thus adding to the hardware cost. Its a a unique design, but given all the obstacles under it not many options as far as biminis go for it, unless you dump your speaker setup and or your 4 foot or so...haha

Holy Sh## trace I guess I need to take mine off at night and cherish it more!! The numbers you guys have given for the bimini replacement seems outrageous and the MFG is making a killing obviously for as cheaply built as the alpha z bimini is. You can't even go above 40mph or so with them!!

Those Z5 towers that come on other brands that are actually a good quality that you can have out at tow speeds I'd hate to see replacement cost of them!

your comparing apples to oranges from a structural standpoint. compare the Alpha Z tower makeup 1/2 tubing to the Z5 that is 1 inch with some killer mounting points. but since you ask a Z5... 4k to 4500. guess if you drop that kind of cash you can tow your heart out and not worry about putting down.
