Seat Pedestal Extension?

Does such a thing exist? I've got an 03 without the flip up bolster and it's just too low most of the time. I usually end up driving with my knee in the seat and I know that's gotta be horrible for the vinyl. I'd like to get another foot of height if possible. I've googled and found a bunch for bass boat seats, but none for the bigger pedestals.

I have the same issue. Following this post as I'd love to have my seat higher as well. I've been settling for a throwable cushion for the past few years but would love something higher!

I had the same issue so I just purchased a new base that was taller.

Great thought... Exactly what I was looking for but didn't know existed... Mine looks a lot like the Garelick ribbed series. I'm gonna need to check the diameter, but I think this will be right up my alley... Thank you

Xpjim I would be interested... Do these just screw down or am I gonna have to get a wrench to the underside of the floor to hold a nut or something...

The seat base is just attached from the top. I ordered a tall pedestal and cut a few inches off for my height. I ended up getting an adjustable pedestal. Will post pics this weekend.

My 2005 has bolts that screw in. xpjim, can you post a link to the adjustable one? Does it help for driving while weighted on the goofy side?

yep.. most of them have adjustable or slotted places that can link up with the seat.

I like sitting higher and look over windshield while driving. It works for me. Actually after I installed it years ago. No one has ever adjusted the height

You can use your same seat base. The white round thing on the bottom of the seat base just slides on the pedestal

Here is a picture. Same manufacturer as stock. From base to top is 15.5 inches. It is just over 3 inches taller than stock. They sell new for about $65 plus shipping. I bought an 18 inch one and cut it down.
