couple ?'s.....how do I get the old t-stat out of the housing? I assume I should put in as much antifreeze/water mixture back in that came out. Do fill it directly into the intercooler where the fill cap is or into the plastic overflow/holding tank?

I got the t-stat out....looks different than the one in the pic, and the o-ring is not coming off it is like it is riveted in. where do i get a o-ring that will work....i beginning to think i shoulda took this to a shop. the housing broke when i was getting the t-stat out, its was the clip that holds the spring clip in.

Does anyone have an idea where I should get a new o-ring. The one that is on my old t-stat is not going to work.

Mcmaster has a decent lookup for o rings if you have the dimenenions material etc. http://www.mcmaster.com I don't know which one you need, maybe marine power can help?
