Is this with the engine running or just key on?
Static battery is usually between 12.5 and 13.0. Engine running would be 13.5 -14.5.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

My first thought is the LCD is failing and the "1" and "." are out and its actually 13.2V. Yes, get a meter and check battery voltage engine off and then with engine on. At 32V, i dont see any 12V automotive engine control module staying powered up and any other processor controlled device would shut down or let the smoke out.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Yup, ECMs I were responsible for were typically spec'ed for about 25v max steady state and transients (spec'd both for peak and for how long) in the 25 to 40v range. The double jump start that many old wreckers use to do was a problem to meet. You hoped that they didn't leave the double battery voltage on the vehicle very long...

checked voltage at battery - 12.08
checked voltage w/ boat running - 13.8
gauge still reads 32, even when motor is off.....
riddle me that.

Other than the battery(s) needing replaced, sounds like the alternator is not overcharging. No clue on the gauge reading, try contacting Faria the gauge manufacturer.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
