Reminds me of what's been going on in Texas and Oklahoma lately. Just read we have 5-8 more inches coming this weekend. I'm just about over the rain down here. Time to send it out west to Cali.

We were in Iceberg Canyon June 3-9 in the small cove/canyon directly east of where the video was filmed, the storms that came through were amazing. Both arms in the back of the canyon were totally blocked not only by ice but by debris fields that went from shoreline to shoreline and were 500yd+ long. I know several members are on their way to Powell in the coming weeks. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A EXTRA IMPELLER OR TWO and watch for the large amounts of debris floating throughout the canyons and main channel. I have an in-line strainer on my sea water pickup, it had plenty of debris in it and had to be cleaned out a few times. Some debris looks to have made it passed the strainer and destroyed the impeller when we were out on Monday 6/8. The lake level is rising quickly ~4" a day (more if it rains), a total of 32" for the 6 days we were on the water. Water temp ranged from 72-75.

Glad to here all made it out. Too bad for the lost boat. Maybe they will buy a Tige next. The lake I live on crested last week at 17 feet above normal. I had to wade through 5 foot deep water just to get to the ram to my dock. Fortunately I was not in an area that the water did damage. I came up to just 6 inches below my shed where I keep all the lake stuff. It has gone down to where I can finally get to the ramp to my dock. It left a ton of debris on my shore and it took all week to get it cleaned up.

I was there from June 8-13.

The rain was torrential. There were some fierce winds and it definitely cooled things down, so not a lot of water sports those days.
              Be excellent to one another.
