Can anyone identify this mystery knob?

I'm crawling under dash trying to troubleshoot my stupid finicky Alpine MC20 remote and I find this knob under the dash just to the starboard side of the steering wheel.

Any ideas? Original owner doesn't know either. My guess is a subwoofer level knob from original stereo that came with my 08 Z1. The round blue and black wires I don't think are coming out of it but there is a flat black cable that does. Almost looks like a network or phone cable.

Ya probably a subwoofer level control like you thought. Theres one under the dash on my RZ2 that looks just like that.

Yep sub bass knob, my 14 still has it in same place.

Thanks fellas. That's what I thought even though I was hoping it was sensitivity for my MC20 remote. Although I did reset and pair the remote with the head unit and it does seem to respond a little better. But that's whole nother kettle of fish!

FYI,

That Knob is specifically for the Bass control on the 5 channel kicker amp that was stock in your boat. If it survived this long (the amp or the knob) in working order it would be a miracle
