Tige z1 who all owns one and problems to be aware

I'm looking at a 09 z1 just want to know how many have them and what to look for problem wise thanks

One thing to remember if looking at reviews or if anyone posts on your thread is that the Z1 Changed for the 2013 model year. Any feedback you get on '13, '14 & '15s will not be based off the same hull. The '09 should have the newer Alpha Z tower which is a very solid tower and would be prior to Tige Touch. A lot of the folks here think that because of these 2 things that the 2009 boats were a sweet spot for Tige. Tige Touch 1 was quite clunky...looked nice but clunky.

To get things rolling for feedback from others, what do you plan on doing with the boat? Wakeboard, cruise, surf, tube? Are you on large water that can get rough or smaller lakes?

There are a lot of very knowledgeable and honest guys on here and most don't completely have Owners Goggles. You should get good feedback

Thanks. Dandy mostly use for boardin . And surfing. And a lot of the younger kids and friends like tubing yeah mostly on Potomac river here for use or. Raystown lake I'm with you. On reviews before pulling the trigger on something expensive. But just want to get everyone's thought on the boat and if any known problems. With it size of wake for boarding or surfing. I'm getting familier with. The taps system last boat was a 04 moomba mobious lsv. I like the tige line ups. It's either a tige or supra thanks but I'm leaning toward a tige z1 don't want to spend a fortune on a boat that we only have most 4 months of use any input on rider .editions or the ve what makes the difference with the 09 hull different from 2013 on the z1

Outside of speed-set, theres nothing on that particular 09 that wouldnt be anymore of an issue an any other 09 model boat from sea ray to mastercraft.

In 2013, they launched a whole new Z1 that was basically a shorter version of the Z3. The 09 was a different hull from the Ve/RZ hull and was also 100" beam. The new Z1 is 102" beam and is molded after the Z3.

The 09 will throw a great surf wave when sac'd out.
