I need to see it in different colors and in sitting in the water before I can make a final judgement. So far, so good. (Except for the side walk-through ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!)

The questions I have are as follows...

Thought the new boat was 21'? Is there another model in our future?
    Where's the ballast?
    Is there snap-out carpet?

This thing is getting about an 85% positive review on Wakeworld. Credit where credit is due... Nice work Tige...

Wakeworld MC fanatics are trying really hard to discredit Tige's new boat. All I can say is I bet the Tige blows the MC out of the water with handling and overall ride. Just add about 1200 pounds of ballast and I'm sure the wake will easily rival the X-Star. However, I'm a big fan of the X-Star and X-2, but just needed a place to blow off a little spray.

        exciting stuff

        Heys guys/gals:

Well i was lucky enough to ride in this very boat today and all i can say was ....Actually i'm speechless. Performance was AMAZING. So much work has gone into this project and the final result is tremendous! I'm not sure what i can or cant comment on so i will try to get 'clearance' tomorrow to help answer some of the questions. I can say that everyone at Tige is stoked, and you can all expect great new products from our team. Special thanks to Justin and Danny at Tige for all their hard work on this gorgeous new boat.

All I can say is pretty sweet looking. Maybe a pickle could be in the far off future for me.

            Wait a minute here...

You mean to tell me you rode in the boat today and didn't take any pictures? What, are you some kind of novice or something?????

I'm just curious and hope someone from Tige can answer this. How long was this boat in development? Is this the first piece out of the new R&D shop or was it a carry over from the last shop?

On a different note, the MC hardcores are cracking me up on WW. Some of 'em are really fired up, crying about how Tige is just ripping off MC. While there are some definite similarities, the RZ2 aint no MC. Thank god.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

                Any specs to share?
I like it, like it alot. I'm a fan of less is more, so I really like the dash. I can't stand "busy" dashboards, they're distracting. What are the vents in the bow for? What, if any, are the ballast options? Did we get a lockable "systems" storage area (hoping)? You gave us the beef, now serve the au jus (please), and we can be happy.
I will not be upgrading for another year or two, but you just made the choices, that much easier. Thanks Tige for moving forward and offering the option....

the vents in the bow are the intake for the engine compartment- On all the other current boats, they're under the front of the windshield.

Yeah, it aint an MC... although it'd be pimp to have a ladder in the front. Since a picklefork has 2 prongs, maybe this is a pitchfork (3 prongs?) I definitely dig the lines on this boat! toss in a MP 6.0L powerplant and synchrotech, bimini, ballast, and a kickin' stereo and I'm SOLD!

I'd just like an anchor locker in the bow so I don't have to carry it through a cockpit full of people. A great place for it would be in the bow.

nickypoo - this boat has been in development for quite a long time when you consider all aspects of development. Tige takes alot of pride in our ability to respond and produce the products that our customers and dealers ask for. So the development began when tige owners and dealers starting asking for their perfect boat. Trust me, no person's request goes unnoticed, it is alway just a matter of time and ability whether something gets implemented, provided it is in the best interest of the company and most of all you owners. This is the first Tige out of the new R&D shop but development and construction began long before the new manufacturing facility!

I gotta agree, a folding ladder for the bow, ala-same as most (current)deckboats have, would be a giant step (pun intended) forward.

You know, I can see the similarities to the MC that those guys are talking about. But how do you incorporate a Pickle, w/o catching the MC hardcore fan's flack. Answer: You can't...

That being said. This boat reportedly handles like a Tige, not a Mastercraft. Ding Ding Ding, game over, Tige Wins by KO.

If you've ever driven an X-star, you know what I mean.

I can't wait to get into the RZ-2 and check out all the cool stuff the photos don't show.

BTW, Can I order that Drive's Seat for my Boat...seriously, I want that seat.

As far as the MC fans go, most are just hanger-ons (read as non-owners), who don't know boat history. I would bet a full 75-85% feel MC INVENTED the pickle.

Well, you can tell the layout's already better than MC because they didn't move the windshield back and make the cockpit smaller. The X-Star looks like one of those fundeck boats turned into a wakeboard boat rather than a wakeboard boat with a pickefork.

As for the seat, I want one also. Any chance of a retrofit for older boats?

Are you guys going to bring it to the Austin Tige owners Reunion?
