The pickle fork is to wakeboats as the bulbous nose is to deck boats.

A way to increase seating room in the bow. It is much better looking than I had imagined, concidering Tige's envelope pushing designs.

I like it, I don't think I would buy it, but I like it.

PS. Its interesting to see a Tige without its dash, looks like there may be a completely reworked on on this boat.

      the RZ....better name than 22v..imho

        Redlined & Zacky

Tigeowners.com will be the first place new models will be posted when they are ready for release to the public. In fact the past two years we have released new model photos exclusively on Tigeowners.com. Although we can not avoid any "spy" photos posted by someone else we will however make sure that the members see the new 07 models on this site first. As soon as I get a release date from Tige I will post images of the new 07 models once all components of the boats are finished.

        Thanks,
        Matt

No pickle for me. It's not ugly, but it's not anything I'd be interested in owning.

To each his own on the looks department, but when I tested an X-45, the room in the bow was not to be denied.

I was on a small lake, so I don't know how wet the ride would be.

The biggest benefit to me was the extra leg room when sitting facing forward, it does make a difference.

If the MC would have been able to turn inside a small football field, I would probably own one now. It couldn't. The 24V Tige` will turn circles around the X45.

Now if I could just get it to stay running after idling for 10 minutes.

im not a huge fan of the pickle fork, but it will probably grow on me! if it hadles & drives anything like my 24v, it will be an awesome boat!

The more I look at the pictures the more I am liking it. Need to see it in person though. I like the extra room in the bow.
                    Let it be!!!

Well, I hope they do a better job than Mastercraft. I took a look and my main complaint is that they had to sacrifice cockpit space by moving the dash and windshield further back. Too much wasted space up front with all that fiberglass on all 3 models they have, the X2, X-Star and X-45.

Why do they call it a "Pickle Fork"?? I get the fork part but where the hell is the Pickle?

You're a good man, Matt. Now, any idea on when the big reveal will take place? It seems like we saw the '05s and '06s in late June...

Don't worry Matt, we know you'll take care of us. Sooner is always better that later though.

Dog makes a good point on the MCs. They're a bit short on leg room in the helm. At 6', I found it to be a bit small.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Think of a 3-pronged fork, with the middle prong missing. This is what a pickle fork looks like. They are used for removing pickles from jars- hence the name "pickle fork."

I think that the term was coined by the race boat crowd- for hydroplanes that have two prongs sticking out from the front.
