anyone near Omaha?

heading to Omaha this sunday for 2 weeks and thinking I'll have some free time on Sunday the 13th. hoping to find someone boating in the area that might have room for an extra for the afternoon for a quick surf pull.

I am in Kearney, but was out of the country on the 13th. Had I been in town you would have been more than welcome on my boat, provided you would have been willing to drive a few hours.

I am not sure, I moved to Nebraska less than a year ago, so this is my first season here. I have stayed in Central Nebraska for boating, 2-3 hours drive from Omaha.

Was going to say McConaughey, looks like it's about 5 hours from you though

We have been going to Calamus. It's just north of Burwell in the sand hills. Has sand beaches all around the lake, which are hard to come by in Nebraska. We have not yet made the trip to McConaughey, but we are going to go later this season.
