Vinyl Drainage Mats (Equivalent to Poseidon/Deckadence?)

I'm trying to find a solution to my 21v's floor. Deckadence seems like a decent option but from what I gather they only sell thru dealers now. They haven't answered my emails asking about mats so I can only assume they don't deal direct with customers anymore...Posiedon I can't even find a place that sells it so unless I'm searching the wrong thing I am assuming they are dealer only as well..

I came across someone mentioning what I think is this stuff in another thread...anybody have experience with this stuff? I was thinking about ordering a smaller piece to replace the bow snap in carpet kind of as a test piece.....

    http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Vinyl-...vinyl+pool+mat

    Opinions? Yay's, Nay's?

Also, does this stuff need to be cut with a special piece of equipment to keep the edges from falling apart?

You'll want to look in to Miners Moss then. Same type of thing just not as thick as deckadence. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...ds=miners+moss

I'm pretty sure deckadence will sell direct. They just don't want to supply newer boats as they may undercut the new boat sales.

Is there a better email than what is found on their website? I've tried that email twice with no answer...

1: The "Posiden" flooring from Tige is Deckadence - they use a different name...it's fancy Honestly, most OEMs don't want clients to know all of their suppliers.
2: Deckadence will no longer work direct with clients - at least that is their new policy in the US. I contacted them over the winter and since they didn't have a dealer in the area, they worked with my local Marine Max and set them up. They didn't have a template for the G23 so they came in and set it up. In our area they happen to have a contractor that will do the template work - this is not an option everywhere
3: I believe that some of the newer boats, where they have relationships with the manufacturer, you would still have to work through the manufacturer. I am not sure, but it did sound like the Tige dealer may be able to purchase the newer stuff direct and not have Tige's Factory handling in it....don't quote me on this as I am not 100% sure.
4: Contact. Contact JP. I believe he is an owner partner, or the national sales manager. Good guy, easy to talk to.
          Email: jp@deckadencemarine.com
          Phone: 760-815-1768
5: Keep in mind that this is a very BUSY season for all of the marine industry and it may take a little longer for companies to reply/respond as they have a lot of work and inquires to keep up with.
6: Good luck - it is a great product

Google 3M looped matting or spaghetti mesh mats. 3M designed these "Nomad" mats over 20 years ago. There are numerous suppliers out there if you want to order a mat and cut it in

Deckadence will deal direct with consumers as long as it is not a factory option. It being an option on Tige's I don't think they will work direct with you and dealer will be your only option as they don't want to undercut the dealers.
On other manufacturers that don't use deckadence as a flooring option they will sell no problem. Getting ahold of them is another issue altogether. My experience is they aren't very responsive nor reply very quickly.

Thanks for the info! Part of my struggle is I don't have any wakeboat dealers in Dayton, OH...the nearest would be Cincy or Columbus and I have called a few and none of them deal with an older Tige let alone getting a floor made for one so I am just trying to see if Deckadence is even an option for me at this point....

See if you have any Scarab boat dealers nearby. They offer Deckadance as a factory option as well. You would have to create a template for your boat, assuming Deckadance does not have one on file and then the dealer would be able to get the template sent in and your flooring created. Or, if you talk with JP, he may be able to locate a dealer near you. This product is not exclusive to wakeboats. There are several cruiser/small yacht companies that offer Deckandance as well.

                  Good Luck
