I think you can easily add all the options to the boat that is missing them if you like that boat better for some reason (graphics, etc). I'm sure the dealer can work it into the deal, its all just $$. I had Seadek in my previous boat (similar to Hyrdoteak), but I like the squishy feel of the Posiden Mat. To each his own!

You have to trust your canvas guy, but you can have pockets sown into the non surf bimini too. I did. The guy sowed across the pole pockets the first time and I had to have him redo it, but I got it done for under $200 and it looks pretty good!

I saw somebody mention heater. I never thought I would own a boat with a heater. It's only good when the motor is running and doesn't serve the whole cabin, but if you order a boat its nice to have when you took the first set and are drying out while driving on a cold day!

check out this website www.seedealercost.com. It will get you in the ball park for the cost of each option(s) It lines up pretty close to the dealer price sheet.

What do people think a fair % off MSRP is for a dealer? I bought a nice triple slide Jayco camper custom ordered for 68% of MSRP. But camper prices are so much easier to research and compare. Six dealers varied from 92% MSRP to 68% MSRP. I actually did not select the dealer based on low price -- it just turned out the dealer I liked the most had the lowest price.

So what is the range for a boat dealer?

Here in the Denver market it depends on which brand your talking about. I have seen boats priced as far as 18 to 20 % off MSRP.
