Anybody in OKC going to the competition?

Is anybody going to the wakeboarding competition this weekend on the river? I know it starts today with practice. I'm going to try to make it down there. I work downtown, so I'm just going to head over there in a while.

I keep hearing people talk about it, but haven't heard a thing about it. Someone have the details? Can We load our boats in at the river?

Unfortunately I am stuck driving to freaking Sallisaw this weekend as I had to leave my truck at Tenkiller this last weekend. My stupid new ford decided it didn't like the fuel line that was in it and thought it would blow it apart and sprayed gas everywhere. Luckily no fire. Is it going on sat. and sun. or just sat?

I'm not really sure how good it will be, but it's something to do. I don't think you will be able to put your boat in, but today you can get pulled by some of the boats that the sponsors have. I saw a nice Malibu and Nautique when I went down there. I just dropped by for a minute to see some of the guys I know that are Sponsors. Go to skiokc.com for all the details. The finals are Sunday.

That happened to an Explorer in our office parking garage on Wednesday (we just moved into these offices, too) and it did catch on fire after the person had parked it. It blew up and severely damaged the two cars next to it.

I guess that's why they lovingly refer to it as an Exploder

You know that's now the 7th person I've heard about who's newer model ford caught on fire. I'm not counted in that as mine didn't (whew). When I talked w/ Ford's customer service about a rental car the lady I spoke w/ mentioned that she's had a few of these happen but wasn't supposed to talk about them. Kind of worries me and makes me think.
