Where did you stay @dreddy? Thinking about bullfrog area in the future after reading these posts, but probably not going to do the houseboat rental. Might be a year or so before I can pull it off. I'd have to take 2 weeks off, find a place to stash the boat and visit the Grand Canyon, Bryce, etc.

I agree with what most have said. We go mid September every year and love it. July won't be bad but it will be HOT and a bit busier than September. Totally worth the time, effort and expense to houseboat on Lake Powell. It is one of the most amazing and beautiful places I have ever been.

Anyone know if there is restriction or something i need to know before taking that loooonggg road from east Canada !?
