    Gel Coat Repair?

So got our first scratch on our 2013 Z1. Was at the lake for the first time this season as we were on our way out winds go to 20+ mph and the lake was super choppy. As I was brining the boat onto the trailer the trailer guidance posts slipped the side of the boat and put a 6" scracth on the gel coat. Tried buffing it out but no luck. Was curious to know, as far as gel coat repair goes can that be fixed? Can a gel coat repair shop remove the scratch and rematch the gel coat to the rest of the boat (color, etc)? Not familar with this let me know! Thanks for the info in advance....

A good repair shop should be able to match.

You boat is new enough you can get the exact gel to match. Have your dealer contact Tige to get the details on the gel/ colors. With a good repair you will never know it was there.

Thanks for all the feedback. Is gel coat repair expensive? Or is it fairly reasonable? I know it depends on how bad or big the damage is but overall is it reasonably priced from personal experiences?

gel coats are pretty thick. I would think you could contact a high end detailer and have them wetsand and polish it out.
