Aftermarket Tower Racks - Opinions please!

Looking to purchase aftermarket wakeboard tower racks. I do not want to spend a lot of money. I am unsold on swivel and think I prefer quick disconnect - though I think I can be swayed...

Anyone purchased a set as of late and has a good recommendation?

    Thanks in advance!

You can actually purchase the Krypt surf rack (http://www.krypt-towers.com/double-w...oard-bat-rack/) - they are $150 right now and the "fingers" bolt onto the same holes as the current Tige backplate.

I am still working on a solution that is cleaner than the stock bungie straps that come with them.

All this time you are still around helping out - Thanks very much Lee!

Another question for you - do you know the tower diameter that is on the 2004 22i limited?

Thanks! IN looking at that product, I cannot tell if that will fit on my tower.

I took a break for a few years while working for the other guys. 2004 could be tricky as it could be a Metcraft tower or a Tige in house tower, might be 2.5" or 2" I will need to think for a minute.

              After thinking I believe 2004 is 2" and 2005 is 2.5".

These are pretty similar to the Krypt ones but are a little less expensive. Pretty sure this guy is selling all his stock and getting out of being a Indy distributor so he keeps dropping prices on all his stuff. I was going to order a bimini from him but he sold out before i got one. I've dealt with him in the past and he was a good guy.

If you are getting new racks and you can afford them, get the swivels- so much nicer to deal with while on the water

If you slip your boat or raft up, the swivels are nice! Disconnecting the rack assembly may wear on you in those situations, especially if you are taking the boards out each time as opposed to just swiveling the rack inboard.

                      My 2004 24V tower is 1-7/8 diameter.

That's what I measured my 2004 22V (1-7/8 diameter). Is that considered 2", or do you go off of the actual measurement?
I'm working with the dealer to get me a different set of swivel racks. The monster's they provided (they promised Roswell) fell off the first time we used them!!!

You would need 1 7/8" clamps.
