Yes, that is why I used the johnson for the crossover, it is a bit faster. But these pumps are significantly faster than the johnsons. I am running 2, in place or 3, and getting faster times than I did with 3.
Are you inferring that I am giving misleading information? And I don't recall ever saying "all tige boats", I only have made notes on our experience with our Z3.http://wake9.com/

Jabsco only produces 1 reversible ballast pump, to my knowledge, and its not faster than the Johnson. Now, if Jabsco has given Tige a pump thats not yet a production pump, then ok, thats great, I have no specs on it. Its size and current draw would be significant greater then the current Puppy pump. I guess ill saa what I can get from Jabsco, info wise.
Not you at all, buy dealers are saying that all Tige boats dont need more than factory ballast and dont need to be listed more than 7". This is a flashback to the early 2k's, so gonna be lots of upset owners out there with poorly setup boats.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I am referring to something not yet released that I am testing. There is no info on it generally available. So far it rocks, and it does draw more, but it doesn't seem to be an issue, but I have a lot more testing to do.
I would say that at least with the Z3, they don't need more than Surf XL, that is excellent as is. If the other boats with Surf XL are similar, I would say the same thing. Our experience is 6-8 degrees, and in some situations it hits 9 on goofy, but we used to hit 12 at times on goofy on the red Z3.
I had a 2007 24Ve and the dealer told me it didn't need ballast at all, so yes, I remember that.
I can't speak to that, but I can tell you that I work very hard to keep our information as accurate as possible and give the details to verify and reproduce.http://wake9.com/

@RZR the only thing that is tough about that, is that when I say Z3 with Surf XL is great, I am comparing to what I would expect from a weighted 22-23 foot boat. Most people in an RZR that I know that surf, expect the RZR to put out a wakesurf wave comparible to and RZ2 or Z3 or 226, and the RZR can do that, but it needs more weight than I think a manufacturer can feel comfortable putting in.
Its all about preference and expectations. For me, I prefer to say, here is the RZR with Surf XL with several riders and several angles and this is how it felt. You decide if that is good enough for you.
EDIT: RZR can create a wake comparible in size to those bigger boats, but the transition is still better with an RZ2 or Z3 in my experience. Haven't tested much with AVX though.http://wake9.com/

@chp Yes, that is correct. This doesn't effect the wake in any way, just our ability to go from side to side faster. We are working on some sensors, but other than bigger bags with some special properties you can't find in flyhigh sacs, these cross pumps, and the sensors, there is nothing different.http://wake9.com/

My question is; what elevation are you normally operating at? I would like to go with the 400, but my dealer says it won't be enough at 3500 feet. He is trying to talk me into the 440. Not sure if he's just trying to up sell me or not. I have a feeling the fuel consumption will be a lot more with the 440.
You should't have a problem anyway since I saw a recent post from you asking about Lake Travis. Just get on down here to Texas! The drought just ended bringing Lake Travis up 30' in less than a month and we surf all year down here!
