Did they add the extra horizontal velcro strap? Mine doesn't have that.

I'm having a problem with water and the cover is rubbing on the drivers seat and causing damage. Anybody else having this issue? I traveled a long way to pick up boat and dealer told me to leave slack in the tower rope when traveling.

            Had the same issue.
Prefer travelling without cover. But the shop that worked on my cover add extra rope on each side that i attach to the board rack.
Travelled cover on last week and everything look fine now.
Lucky i am having my boat on a lift all summer long.

Lol. Boat owner problems... I think people forget these are boats and it is OK to get wet. Great solution to fill those gaps though.

Good idea although for them to be more effective they need to be above the hinge point in the tower. water can still get in there.

I think this is why more of the boat manufactures are getting away from carpet. It just holds too much water and molds/mildews easy. I do agree with you, it really sucks to get ready to hit the water and deal with that smell. Malibu owners, with all that carpet must really have a stink to deal with

Turn your drivers seat sideways so that the top of the seat is against the side window so the top of the chair does not get rubbed on with the cover.

I am dumb to have never thought of this since 2009. Thanks Ewok for a great suggestion!
