need advice on tige models and year

Going to upgrade from my 2003 20I to a new or newer wakeboard boat. Mainly want to wakeboard, wake surf and have room for more people. Hard to find Tige in FL but I found two, 2012 RZ2 with 272 hr for 59K and 2009 Z1 321hr for 39K. Any issues with these years and models? Not sure used or pulling trigger on new. Have a budget around 65K so used fits well within.

I have a 13 Z1 I amthinking about selling. Great boat. 128 hours. Just kicked off its 3rd season. Would probly sell it in 59-60 range.

If looking at a Z1 I would look at the 13 and newer model. They are actually 21.5' long, wider beam and deeper freeboard. They have noticeably more room and produce a wonderful surf wave - I know as I had one as well. I do not know much about the pre-13 wave/wake. The wakeboard wake on Z1s tend to be very weight sensitive from side to side. This can be adjusted by shifting people or through ballast. Not sure if the RX2 is as weight sensitive, I would guess the RZ2 will have a better wakeboard wake and sounds to surf well but does not have as deep of freeboard. A lot of people think that the 2009 boats are a sweet spot as they have the newer tower but do not have Tige Touch, good old switches and gauges. Food for thought.

2013 z1, is the first year of the cut down Z3 hull, and they are very weight sensitive and tippy....

Lol. Range might be the wrong word.

I have a Z1 too. All the performance of the z3 but fits in the garage.

It is a bit tippy at speed though.
