I just looked, I can get a flight to phoenix or Vegas for $125-$150 return (gotta love allegiant air) then get a rental car to look at some boats. There is quite a few good boats in Arizona, Nevada, and California (including BAD05's) so I'm starting to think this trip is a good possibility. Just got to convince the missus that we need a "vacation" ha.

I have mine for sale at what I think is a pretty fair price for all of the options it has. PM me or reply to the craigslist ad if you want more details or pictures.

Having seen Bad05's boat at the reunion last year (thread if you want to look at pics). I think it would be worth a trip to check it out. The original owner before Bad05 is also very respected on here and other forums There is a big value in knowing the history of a boat.

          Good luck and have fun!

x2 Great price! I doubt there is a better surf boat out there (any brand) for that price!

            Good luck with the sale!

For what its worth, I met Tammy, Grant, and Chad at one of the Wake9 Polar Bears and they are really great people. I have no personal experience with the dealership but at the event they put two of their new boats to fill in when a couple manufacturers backed out and help make it a successful trip!

Looks like there are some good options for boats out there! Its going to be a fun boat hunting season for you!

164hrs, factory ballast, 1 sm tear on the vinyl on a seat.

Clean boat for sure. seats are easy to fix. which seat? I had all mine done with better material..small ones 100 apiece big ones 200..250 for each bow seat. Shouldnt be a problem there.

pump another 3 grand into 'real' ballast and acccesories and I say you got yourself a real nice boat

Looks like a decent boat, but in your situation, i'd pass on it. Once you figure in exchange rate, costs to go look at it or have it checked out, shipping cost, tax at the border (pretty sure 5% GST will apply), a few grand for a ballast system and anything to fix and your getting really close to what a newer 22ve or RZ2 should actually sell for in Alberta. I'm betting if you keep looking and are patient you'll find a nicer boat closer to home for less cash.

Theres a nice 22ve in Saskatoon that might be worth a look. Asking price is high, but i bet he'd sell for alot less.

Are you dead set on a Tige? I ask because if your looking for a surf boat, there are a few decent Centurions on Kijiji right now.

Not exactly dead set on a Tige, I have been looking at some of the other boats as well. I have just heard a ton of really good things about them and the hull on the 2003-2007ish boats, that v and ve hull. It seems that the consensus is those boats can do it all, very well, for a decent price.

To me my gut feeling is that the Tige is the best boat for the price, but I am keeping an open mind towards the other brands as well.

Well, figured I would bump this up to the top and give an update as well.

I put in an offer on a '06 24ve, the owner then got back to me and said his wife didn't want to sell.

I then proceeded to put an offer on my second choice, a '07 Centurion Avalanche, who also told me his wife wouldn't let him sell.

Extremely frustrating, but thats how it goes sometimes I guess. Im probably going to wait until fall and hopefully the Canadian dollar rebounds a bit.
