Does anybody feel like selling their 22v or 22ve?

    Hello,
Im in the market for a 2003-2007 22V, or a 2006-2007 22VE. Ive searched craigslist, onlyinboards, and boat trader pretty extensively, but was wondering if anybody on here has one for sale or was thinking of putting one up for sale.

Im willing to go up to $35K for the right boat, but would rather keep it down around $30 or lower if I could help it. Im located in Alberta, Canada, but I'm willing to travel and have been searching as far as Arizona, Nevada, and northern CA. Let me know if you, or your friends, want to sell your boat to a good home

    Thanks,

Yeah I saw that one, I really like the VE hull. There is 3 or 4 really good boats in Texas that I've seen, it is a little far but if the price comes down a bit it might be worth paying someone to inspect the boats for me and shipping it.

Ive checked Kijiji in BC, Alberta, Sask., and Manitoba, but I haven't checked the individual dealers. Thats good advice, I'll start going through them.

On a separate note, I found a private sale for a 2005 switch v with 600 hours, asking $21000 USD. Its tempting, seems like a good price, and close to home, but really not sure if I want the switch V or if I should hold out for something bigger.

Since your in Canada i'm assuming your talking $35k Canadian. If thats the case, its gonna be tough to find a 22v or ve in that price range, especially this time of year. It might be worth putting a WTB add on Kijiji with what your looking for. Thats how i found my RZ2 last year.

If the switch V your talking about is the blue one in Edmonton for 26k Can, thats about as cheap as your gonna find a decent Vdrive for in Alberta.

I was talking about $35K USD being my upper number, I probably should of specified that.

Yup, that boat is the one. when I saw that, I figured that was a pretty good deal. Im hesitant though, and my gut says I should just pay up the extra dollars now for a 22 or 24 footer, rather than get that one and end up upgrading in a year or two.

                        Did you see these two?

Both are priced way high in my opinion and a little over your budget, but you could always make an offer. $35k US is around $42,500 so you should be able to find one under that price. Thats actually more than i paid for my RZ2 last year.

That switchV does seem like a decent price, but if its not what you really want, i'd pass on it. If you've got the money now, just get what you want.

JLG, oh i've seen it haha. I really like that boat. That boat would be perfect and I would definately be making an offer on it if it was closer to home. Im not sure how much it would cost to ship it that far but Im thinking around $2500 to 3K (2000 miles or so). There is also an issue on getting out there to inspect the boat, and that would cost quite a bit as well.

BAD05's boat in Vegas would be worth considering. Nice boat, and we (on this site) all know the last 2 owners took care of it.
