    On My 06 20i the permanent live pin on the 3 pin connector on the pump to loom had completely corroded away. Check for 12v at this connection.

      One other possibility is the float switch is broken. Under the pump is a float which rises with the water level. Is the pump isn't turning on it could be broken.

      I'd suggest bench testing it, or at least trying to verify it works when power is confirmed.

        Before Johnny-5 disassembles the Camaro, it needs to be verified that the auto function doesnt work. "Thinks" it doesnt work, is not worth the speculation. Make sure it doesnt come on, make sure the brown lead with fuse holder is connected to B+, make sure the fuse is good, then make sure there is B+ at the pump on the correct wire. At that point, pop the pump out of the holder, flip it over and inspect the float.
